Description
Black and white photographic print mounted on card of Cockcroft-Walton Nuclear Particle Accelerator designed and built at the Nuclear Physics Lab at Auckland University College, now Auckland University, by Doctor Leo Hobbis.
Dr Hobbis built a Cockcroft–Walton type accelerator between 1948 and 1953 as part of his doctoral thesis "A Low Energy Cockcroft-Walton Accelerator."
