Description
Sam St Pierre enjoyed a varied and adventurous aviation career. He completed two seperate tours in the RAF, flying Meteors, Sabres, Javelins and Jet Provosts. He flew Solent flying boats in the South Pacific and carried out survey and oil support flying in Africa and the Middle East. Throughout this he made pioneering glider flights, just for fun. A true adventurer who lived by his motto "try anything once". - Back cover.
