Hybrid E-Bike M18 Sport Elite Special.

Black, Hybrid electric bike with a matte finish. The front of the bike is fitted with a set of handlebars with a moulded ergonomic grip. Below each handlebar, a hand brake lever has been attached. Each brake has text reading “TEKTRO / MINERAL OIL / HD 1.3 IK X” engraved on it. A tube extends from each leaver down to connect with each of the breaks. On the proper left, a small remote is fixed to the crossbar. The controller has a series of buttons with symbols printed on them including “+ / - / [light] / [power] / i” a wire extends from this device to the central control panel. In the centre of the cross bar between the two handlebars, there is a central control screen with a USB port set into it on its proper left side. The device has a glass screen with “BAFANG” printed below it in white on an orange plate. At the back of the control, “BAFANG” is printed in with on an orange sticker which is adhered. Under this, “DP C10.U 3.0 / 605F8W2172194” is printed. On the proper right handlebar, a metal bell has been fixed next to a gear shifter which has a plastic face with a red arrow beneath it and “SHIMANO / DEORE” printed on it in white. On the base of the gear shifter “DYNA . SYS” is engraved.

A fork extends below the headtube. At the top of it, there is a blue dial with “OPEN / LOCK” printed on it in white and a black dial with “PRELOAD” engraved. On the proper left prong of the fork, a sticker with “S / SR SLN TOUR” printed on it in white has been adhered. On the right fork, a red and grey sticker reading “Q SP” has been stuck. An arched frame spans the space between the two forks and sits just above the front wheel. It supports a light attachment and reflector which have been screwed on and extend upwards from the frame. “kendo+ / by spanninga” is printed onto the head of the light in white. Beneath this, a plastic guard has been secured with cable ties. The underside of the guard has “enlee / enlee / e / enlee” printed on it alongside white geometric designs.

The front wheel is supported between the two prongs of the fork and attached by a hub through their centre. At the end of the left prong, there is a white QR code sticker with “SFB-M10512-B01” printed onto it above a black sticker with “[warning symbol] WARNING: Before riding ensure that all / release mechanisms are properly secured.” printed on it in white. A hydraulic disk brake with “TEKTRO / 220340 / 37-002W” printed in white is attached to the prong along with a metal disk with holes cut into it and “TEKTRO” engraved. At the end of the right prong, a sticker with “29” / Wheel” is adhered to the outer side and a yellow sticker with “FEM 862 / WARNING / USE ONLY FOR: / LEISURE CROSS COUNTRY / DO NOT USE FOR: FREERIDE/DOWNHILL / DIRT JUMPER OR ANY / HARD RIDING / Improper use of this fork can result / in fork failure and personal injury! / FOR MORE DETAILS SEE OWNER’S / MANUAL OR WWW.SRSUNTOUR- / CYCLING.COM / ! A lever with “CLOSE” engraved on it is attached to the end of the hub.

Spokes radiate from the centre to the rim of the wheel onto which “HYBRID / HYBRID” has been printed in white on both sides. A metal valve with rubber cap protrudes from the rim. The tyre is wide and has a deep tread. On the sides of it, “KENDA / MIN.35-MAX.80 P.S.I. 2.5-5.5 BAR 250-550KPA / [arrow] Direction / (54-622) 29 x 2.10 (700 x 54 C) / K1047 – 012 / I 167” is embossed onto both sides. “KENDA” is printed in grey on the right side of the tyre.

The frame of the bike is constructed from a lightweight carbon and has a geometric design adhered to it. At the front of the frame, “HYBRID” is printed in red onto the head tube and flanked on either side by a black sticker with “DESIGNED IN NEW ZEALAND / [silver fern] NZFM100235” printed on it in silver. “CARBON FRAME” is printed in red along both sides of the top tube. The down tube of the bike is robust and contains the bike’s battery which is housed in a cell which is locked onto the bike with a metal keyhole on the proper left side. On each side of the battery cell, “HYBRID” has been printed in white. A seat tube with a dropper seat post extends from the down tube through the top tube to support the seat. “PROMAX” is printed on both sides and measured 1cm increments from 4-10 printed down the back. The seat is padded and covered in a textile will “SELLE ROYAL” printed in white at the back. “SELLE ROYAL” is engraved into the base of the seat. Under the seat, a red reflector with “IA E 023328 / Z / K808” embossed into it is attached to the dropper seat post. “SUPER LIGHT / HIGH MODULUS / CARBON” is printed onto the end of the top tube where it meets the rear tyre. From the seat tube, a frame extends backwards forming a flat platform above the back wheel. At the end of it, a red light is attached. “Line / by Spanninga” is printed along the top edge of the clear plastic cover. On the face of the light, “Z / TP RBi 12095 12097 / IA /E1 / 023467 / K917 / TP RPBi 12096” is embossed. On the back of the light, “XE / 6VDC” is printed.

At the base of the frame, where the down tube and seat tube connect, a motor is installed within casing. On the underside of the casing, “MM G330.300 15 /018F6W4220470 / [QR code] / 36V” is printed. “BAFANG” is embossed in silver onto an orange plate attached to the casing “M400” is printed next to it on the left side of the bike. A pedal extends from either side of the motor. Each of them has a metal foot pad with raised grips and an orange reflector on the front and back. “neco / WP 916” is embossed on to each of them. “LESCO FM 35 1” is engraved into the shaft of each of the pedals alongside “EB35 / B-1170 L / L” on the left and “EB35 / B-1170 R / R” on the right. On the left pedal, a small green sticker with “IMPORTANT / L” has been stuck. On the right pedal a small orange sticker with “IMPORTANT / R” has been stuck. The crank set is located on the right side of the bike at the base of the frame and is fixed between the pedal and the casing of the motor.

From the base of the frame, two chain stays, made from the same material as the frame, extend backwards on either side of the rear tyre and meet with the seat stay which stretches down from the top tube and forks around the tyre. “DESIGNED BY WITOWSKI” is printed in white onto the face of each of the chain stays. A black plastic fender curves up, around the tyre from the chain stay to the rear of the bike. On the lefthand side of the bike, a retractable stand to support the bike in an upright position is fixed to the chain stay.

The back wheel is connected to the frame by a hub which is supported by the two prongs on the chain stays. On the right side, a chain is fed through a ten-speed cassette, jockey wheel, and derailleur from the crank set at the front. “SHIMANO / DEORE / ON” is printed onto the face of the rear derailleur. “D / DYNA . SYS” is engraved on the jockey wheel. On the left, there is a hydraulic disk brake with “TEKTRO” printed in white is attached to the prong along with a metal disk with holes cut into it and “TEKTRO / Q” engraved. A green sticker is adhered with “GC / PASS / 04” printed on it. On the side of the mechanism, a lever with “CLOSE” engraved on it can be found.
