Description
Inkwell - stylised in glass with a short neck and a round opening at the top. This opening has a lip all around which is curved upward at the back and downward in the front. The bottle is slightly broad just below the neck and tapers down gradually to a round base. The inside of the bottle tapers down to a point. The ink goes all the way down to this point. The neck of the bottle extends down to form a tapered tube that is open at the bottom. This arrangement is possibly to steady the pen as it is dipped into the inkwell.
