Description
Ceramic soap dish comprised of three parts. Base is a white ceramic bowl with gold foil rim. Patterns of vines and rims circle the belly of the bowl. At the bottom of the base, a pottery stamp with "DOULTON / BURSLEM / ENGLAND" is printed. "A9690" handwritten on base in red. Shallow dish with seven holes in the bottom of it sits in the bottom bowl. The dish has a wide lip with a scalloped rim decorated light blue and peach in floral and lace patterns. Lid with protruding knob in centre with blue leafs painted. Lid is decorated with green vines, leaves and fruits.
