Description
Garrard Model 1A turntable and motor. The turntable itself is 300 mm in diameter and covered with green felt. A short spindle runs through the centre of the turntable. There are 2 small control levers on either side of the turntable. One acts as a brake to stop the turntable while the other is a speed control which has a semi-circular scale with the words: "FAST", "80" and "SLOW" inscribed on it.
The turntable is mounted on a flat square wooden board. Underneath is heavy duty motor marked: "Garrard No.1A British Made".
