Description
Early electric heater. 'Curtis London'. The heater is metal and rectangular in shape. It has a grille-like pattern on the top, front and back while the 2 sides and base are solid. Inside can be seen 2 rows of vertical metal copper coils attached to parallel asbestos holders. On the front of the box is a black turning knob with the word "Curtis" embossed on it. A metal strip runs across giving the temperatures in ºC starting from 110ºC to 250ºC. The unit works on electric power mains 220~230 volts and has a power cable attached with a 4-pin plug - 3 short and one long pin.
