Rolls Royce Avon 20202 axial flow jet engine; thrust 9500lbf. Painted silver and black with red band. Mounted on a grey stand.

The first axial flow jet engine designed by Rolls Royce. As fitted to Supermarine Scimitar twin-engined naval fighter. Other variants used in de Havilland Comet civil airliner and RNZAF Canberra bombers.
