Description
This hand-cranked generator has been removed from an old telephone. It was used to generate a ringing current for ‘party-line’ telephones. Blue metal generator with four brackets at base to attach to telephone. Yellow and blue wires extend from sides. 75 volts alternating current.

I have one in similar condition without the wires. It belonged to my Grandfather who had a party line telephone in the town of Burra South Australia.
