Description
Self Gauging Butter Print - 1 x L - Pat. June 14, 1873. Approximately 20" high x 9" deep x 7" across. For impressing a company or shopkeeper's symbol on surface of butter cube, e.g. fern, rose, etc. Rectangular wooden slab base. Upright metal framed press attached to base, painted silver. Wooden lever arm attached, lifts press rod.
