Description
1 Short-wave diathermy machine. SW-227, frequency-controlled machine. Diathermy is the art of producing heat within the body tissues by passing a high frequency electrical current through the part. The 3 main sections are the wheeled cabinet base, the top unit with the operator's controls located on a slanted top, and thirdly the air-spaced plates which administer diathermy treatments. F.C.C. type approval No. D:-472. -2 Cabinet. -3 Control panel. -4 Air-spaced plates. -5 Instructions book - 22 pages (A4 booklet) for setting up and operating the machine. -6 Hinged drum - which administers diathermy treatment. -7 Adjustable arm. -8 Cable - which administers diathermy treatment. Box of parts. Item found with second arm - unsure if definitely part of same unit.
