Description
The cover of the book depicts the title: New Zealand at the Front 1918 in yellow block letters. The picture is of a blue sky with white clouds and a line of tents, and a pathway in the background. In the foreground is a soldier in uniform carrying a pail next to a tent. The illustration is signed in the bottom right hand corner: N.WELCH. The book is printed in black type and it contains both black and white and colour drawings. The book has 146 pages and the contents, including songs, poems and drawings were created by the men of the New Zealand Division. The back cover has printed on it a Kiwi wearing a hat.
