Description
Metal rectangular dictaphone, "Edison voicewriter" . Metal mouthpiece hung at front on forked stand, with electrical cord reaching around and adjoining at centre back of machine. Speaker next to mouthpiece. Rectangular section at proper left of machine lifts to reveal a rotating disc. Two dials at bottom front of machine reading "TONE" and "VOL". A small light with a dome shaped glass casing sits above. To the left is a panel with sliding levers, two of which read "L" and "C". Vent and electrical socket at back of machine. Patent label beneath machine
