Description
RNZAF Officer's flat top cap. Blue/grey wool top and peak. A black fabric band 40 mm high, circles the brim. A black leather strap, made of patent leather, is fitted to the top of the peak. On the front of the hat is a golden crown with a red centre. Below the crown is a golden, brass eagle. Below the eagle, are 4 fern branches. The inside sweat band is brown leather with purple denim cotton/satin lining. There are pieces of the original plastic head lining still stuck to the inside top of the hat. The underside of the peak is plastic coated.
