Description
Khaki denim cotton tunic, RNZAF, with medium-sized lapels, belted waist and skirt-type waist. 4 patch pockets. Left and right breast and left and right waist pockets. The breast pockets have a vertical pleat and scalloped pocket flaps. The corners of the pockets have dome fasteners. The waist pockets have large, rectangular pocket flaps. There are 3 brass buttons down the front opening. The bottom brass button is missing. The cuffs of the sleeves have a double layer of denim which has been designed to give a crown pattern on the sleeve. The front panels have a linen lining in the seams. There are cotton denim epaulettes secured at the shoulder by a brass button. There is a 45 mm wide khaki cotton belt around the waist. The belt has a broken brass buckle.
