It covers the 100 years of the Auckland City Council together with some of the crucial events between 1840 and 1871 which helped shape the course of the city's development. Includes photograph of Western Springs c.1880s, early rail developments, horse-drawn and electric trams, Partington's mill, and the Harbour Bridge opening.
