Description
A metal bottle opener. Almost rectangular in shape with one end slightly narrower than the other. The widest end has an opening 26 mm x 14 mm rectangular. Above the opening is a thin rectangular raised area. Below the opening "FLY TEAL" is engraved under a stylised flying fish (Maroro). On the reverse: above the opening is a depressed rectangular area. Below the opening, the surface is covered in leather and bulges out. The long sides have edges that turn in at approximately 45° angles to the rest of the opener. On the opposite end from the opening, the New Zealand patent number is engraved (100660).
