Description
Oval, dark blue cap with wide brim (approximately 70 mm) all the way around so that crown and top of brim are equal. The brim has a slight point in the front and a tail in the back where it crosses over itself. Gold silk lining with seam down the middle. Hemming inside is loosely done and there are some slits possibly indicating alterations or repairs. There are 2 holes 22 mm apart on the brim where the pin sits. They are worn around the edges.
