Description

Navy blue/grey jacket with brass gold buttons. New Zealand Air Force jacket likely to be of war time era. Features the ribbon of the 1939 - 1945 Star medal and small silver gilt rosette which denotes the wearer's presence at the Battle of Britain. Only 129 New Zealanders were officially in the Battle of Britain- twenty were killed.
