Description
Folding plate camera with bellows. The lens is F-7.7 Kodak Anistigmat. 140mm.
Brief History
In the 1870s dry plates were developed as a subsititute for the contemporary wet collodion process for making glass negatives. The dry plate improved the portability of cameras by removing the need for immediate darkroom processing, and as a result many different folding plate cameras came on the market from the 1880s as photography became popular.
