-1 Computer (Personal or Laptop): Dark grey square unit with an upper lid that flips open to reveal a standard type keyboard. The numeral keys, alphabet keys and punctuation keys are in light grey, whereas the other surrounding keys are in a darker shade of grey. The screen is blue and 240 mm measured diagonally. Just below the screen is a row of LED indicators showing: Power, Low Batt, Charge, FDD, HDD, Caps Lock, Num Lock, Scroll Lock.
-2 Battery (extra): Long, dark grey, Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) 12V, 1700mAh battery No.P/N 390790-01, Made in Japan.
-3 AC Adapter/Quick Charger: Input 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 1.0A, Output 16V - 1.5A, Fuse T3.15A. Serial No.90K2012.
-4 Power cord: Black power cord 2900 mm in length with a 3-pin socket at one end (which would go into the wall power outlet) and a 3-holed adapter at the other end to be fitted into the matching input of the AC Adapter.

Brief History
Founded by Jack Tramiel in 1954, Commodore originally specialized in adding machines and electronic calculators. The firm took its first steps into the personal computing market in 1977. In the 1980s, Commodore was one of the world’s largest personal computer manufacturers, it developed and marketed the world's best-selling desktop computer, the Commodore 64, in 1982 and released its Amiga computer line in July 1985.
This Commodore C286-LT laptop was purchased by the donor from Dick Smith Electronics around 1989, and used by them until March 2005.
