Description
SHARP VZ-1500Z(S) record player manufactured in New Zealand by Thorn EMI Consumer Electronics Limited.
Both sides play Linear Tracking. The pick-up arm on this machine does not swing in an arc, but moves linearly across the record ensuring perfect alignment at all times.
It is quite unique in that it can play the top side of a 12" Long Playing record and then the pick-up arm plays the underside as well. Most record players have a pick-up arm that swings in an arc so that the stylus is not always correctly aligned with the record groove.
