Trophy presented to Miss Jean Batten from The President and Members of the British Sportsman's Club as a memento of her Record Flight from Australia to England 5 Days 18 Hours 15 Mins. October 1937.

The trophy has a decorated border and sits on 3 small feet. Trophy is a silver plate with scalloped edges that come to a point in various parts. The plate has three circular and ornate feet. The centre of the plate has an engraving identifying who the trophy was awarded to and why. "PRESENTED / TO / MISS JEAN BATTEN / FROM / THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS / OF THE / BRITISH SPORTSMAN'S CLUB / AS A MEMENTO / OF HER RECORD FLIGHT / FROM AUSTRALIA TO ENGLAND / 5 DAYS 18 HOURS 15 MINS. / OCTOBER 1937."

The reverse of the trophy has the makers engraving and four hallmark stamps.
