Description
A trophy presented to Jean Batten from La Aeronautical Military Argentina and signed by various military and political dignitaries. The trophy is ornately decorated all around with the inscriptions and signatures in the centre. The Trophy has a scalloped wide edge and is make of silver. There are raised floral designs across the boarder, the central plaque is a slightly sunken dish. The reverse of the trophy as three marks from previous adhesive residue. There is a hallmark stamp on verso. Trophy is kept within a red velvet sleeve width metal domes around the opening edge.
