Description
U.S.A. (United States of America) Bronze Star medal awarded fro bravery against the enemy. -1 Medal with ribbon. Bronze medal in shape of a 5-pointed star. There is another small 5-pointed star embossed in the centre of the main star. The medal is attached to a red silk ribbon with blue stripe running vertically down the middle. This blue stripe is bordered on either side by a white stripe. On the reverse of the medal are the words: "Heroic or Meritorious Achievement". -2 Bar - red silk with blue stripe in the middle. This blue stripe is bordered by a narrow white stripe on each side. Safety pin at the back to attach to uniform. -3 Pip - small decorative bar in red, white, blue combination fixed to a stud. -4 Case - dark green with double gold wavy border decorated at the corners and with the words: "Bronze Star Medal" printed in the centre.
