Description

Black woollen epaulette. Front: button at pointed end - rope design around edge of button, design in middle features anchor with entwined rope and crown above that. Braid stitched onto piece of black fabric, which then attached to epaulette. Braid in arrow design with 'A' stitched in cotton within braid pattern. One row of braid thus indicating rank. Back: Backing - black cotton drill.
