Description

Metal and glass compass fixed into wooden carry case which has two metal catches at front and felt padding on interior. Painted stencilled instructions on outside of case stating DELICATE INSTRUMENTS TO BE HANDLED WITH GREAT CARE and TYPE P4A. One stamp on inside lid of case stating EXAMINED 23 MAY 1941 MANCHESTER. Marks on compass are NP 2H47 T. and TYPE P4A.
