Description
Air New Zealand navy blue woollen Flight Stewards uniform.
Jacket has three brass buttons on front with 'NZ' inside wreath and wings coming off either side, rope design around rim of button. Wing badge on left breast used to indicate that staff had a 'flying role': cabin crew member as opposed to ground crew. Two pockets at front around height of hip. Strip of golden braid and red velvet around cuffs only at front of sleeve. Jacket "MADE IN N.Z." by "Anthony Squires / INTERNATIONAL", also known as Hugh Wright Ltd.
