Description
From the top left are signed portraits of H. A. Litchfield (facing the viewer, in flying gear), C.P Ulm (facing right, in uniform), C. Kingsford-Smith (facing left, in uniform) and T.H McWilliams (facing the viewer, in flying gear) with a photograph of the Southern Cross below in three quarter shot looking to the port. A figure is standing to the left and behind the plane. The front, both wings and the left side of the body can be seen. Southern Cross has been painted on the body in front of the tail. The foreground is grass. The background is grass, trees and buildings in the distance and the sky. Looks to be a photograph of an original of four portraits with a photograph of the Southern Cross.
