Description

Audio oscillator for aerial constructed as black metal oblong shaped case, on front panel states object is MX-128/ART-13 (or may refer only to panel rather than full object) and multiple switches and knobs for Antenna Loading, High Frequency Loading, different channels, graph made of paper and plastic on right front for recording channels/ output frequency/ oscillator tuning/ antenna tuning/ antenna loading. On side are plug holes for 'RECEIVER', 'LOAD COIL' and 'GROUND'. Red and white plaque on case
top stating 'CAUTION HIGH VOLTAGE INSIDE TURN OFF POWER BEFORE REMOVING COVER'.

This unit is a complete Transmitter, no just an Oscillator. It was used in a wide variety of American aircraft in late 1940s and early post war eg DC6, Avenger
