Description
Right side of a fire engine parked outside a brigade station, a public library and other buildings. There are eight men in fire uniform on the engine. The fire engine has is square shaped engine with an upraised steering wheel. The driver is wearing a peaked hat and has both arms resting on the steering wheel. There is a second man seated in the passenger seat. The are two running boards at different levels along the body. There are two men standing on the running boards adjacent to the driver and passenger. There are two men standing on the second higher running boards on each side of the engine. Between the legs of the men on the right side is part of a painted identification. Along the centre of the body is an upright structure. Ladders and hoses are in place through the centre of the upright structure. The two men standing next to the back wheel are in suits - one dark and one light coloured. The shorter man in the light suit is leaning on the wheel. His right arm is bent with his hand resting on his waist. His left leg is crossed over his right leg. The taller man in the dark suit is standing relaxed with his right arm bent behind his body. In the right background are a group of people looking towards the engine.
