Description
Tin of ground cloves. Small cylindrical tin with an image of a boat moored on a beach. Lid is sealed with two holes in the top, made by a knife. Tin has a paper label with orange, brown, yellow and white. Texts reads: "Strangs. / ESTD 1872 / Pure / GROUND / CLOVES / CHOICE COFFEES & SPICES". To the right of this is a Maori man with ta moko facial tattoos. Below this, the text reads "MAORI BRAND / REGISTERED TRADE NAME". "1 oz. NET / DAVID STRANG LTD. INVERCARGILL. N.Z." Text on the back reads: "Strang's Peppers and Spices manufactured [...] PURE GROUND / CLOVES."
