Large black cast metal binding machine used in shoe manufacturing and parts. Model 108W20.
Brief History
This machine was used in the manufacture of children’s shoes by J M Alexander Shoes, Auckland, in the 1960s. The machine, used for binding, was attached to a large kauri work bench and powered by a central generator.
