Description
Trish organ grinder clock with figurine. The clock is made in the shape of a box-cart with one large wheel which forms the face of the clock. The dial is decorated with gold-plated Roman numerals and 2 stylised hands - the hour hand and minute hand. A headless man wearing black knee-high boots and a tattered green coat has his right hand grasped around a turning handle. When the handle turns, a tune is played from the clock. The man's left hand is missing. He has a red scarf wrapped around his neck. The box-cart sits on a rectangular wooden base which is propped up on 4 circular feet. A chain and yoke are attached to the cart between the 2 handles on the front. On the back is a brass plate with a key fitted into a slot. The knobs and winders at the back are all missing.
