Material compiled by Robert Doran which relates to the Cambridge differential analyser in the MOTAT collection. Includes:
1) Correspondence from Terry Froggatt to Garry Tee copying Robert Doran in. Mentions a visit to MOTAT and seeing the differential analyser and parts of Richard Pearse's aeroplanes. Enclosed with the letter are photographs taken of the differential analyser and an excerpt from the New Scientist's question and answer section which includes information about differential analysers, and the use of Meccano (June 2000)
2) Printed email from Tim Robinson about the publication "Memoirs of a computer pioneer" which quotes from a paragraph about the history and development of differential analysers at Manchester and Cambridge, which were both constructed using Meccano (May 2001).
3) Printed email between MOTAT and Robert Doran setting up an appointment to discuss the differential analyser (May 2001).
4) Compiled information about the operation and use of differential analyser at MOTAT. Attached to this information is the business card for John Syme, MOTAT Director.
