Description
Pedestrian Crossing Activation Button.
Black, rectangular metal activation for a Pedestrian Crossing. In each of the top corners, there is a small hole for a screw. In the centre of the object, on the front, there is a circular, double ringed button that is gold in colour. Under this, a white sheet of metal with "PRESS BUTTON / FIRMLY AND WAIT / FOR / "CROSS NOW" / SIGNAL" embossed in black has been screwed.
At the back of the object, there is a protruding metal casing extending from the centre of the object. Two long wires, one red and one black, run out of this casing through a circular hole and are wrapped around the object. Two yellow metal fixtures have been attached above and below the central casing. The fixtures are arched in shape and have a metal crossbar and a are designed to fit around the pole of a crossing lights.
