Description
Omega Micromega Critical Enlarging Focuser.
Part 1: The Omega Micromega critical enlarging focuser is black, made of metal and stands on a square base with a hole in its centre. On the back of the base, a sticker with “PROF.Z.KOANA SYSTEM” printed on it in black has been adhered. On the proper left side of the base, there is a support onto which the components of the focuser are attached. At the front, there is an eyepiece with a glass lens attached to the support on a pivot. At the end of the eyepiece, there is a black metal collar which can be used to focus the device. An angled panel with a hinged door, beneath which a mirror can be found, is attached to the side of the support, below the eye piece. The inside of the door is lined with a textile. On the underside of the panel, there is a second mirror. A sticker with “MICROMEGA / CRITICAL FOCUSER / MADE IN JAPAN FOR / OMEGA DIVISION / BERKEY MARKETING / COMPANIES, INC. / WOODSIDE, N.Y. 11377 / Division of / Berkey / Photo Inc.” printed in black has been attached to the exterior side of the frame.
Part 2: Blue glass filter with black plastic rim.
Part 3: Original cardboard box packaging for Omega Micromega critical enlarging focuser. The box is blue and opens from the proper left side, “Omega / OMEGA / MICROMEGA / CRITICAL / ENLARGING / FOCUSER / Catalog Number / 468-006” is printed in white. On the top face of the box, there is a printed image of the focuser and white printed text “Omega / OMEGA / MICROMEGA / CRITICAL / ENLARGING / FOCUSER”. On the front and back edges, “OMEGA / MICROMEGA / CRITICAL ENLARGING FOCUSER / FOCUSES TO IMAGE EDGES 10X ADJUSTABLE ACHROMATIC EYEPIECE / FRONT SURFACE 86MM MIRROR FOR COLOR AND BLACK & WHITE / COMPLETE WITH B&W COMPENSATION FILTER” is printed in white. On the bottom face, “Omega / OMEGA / MICROMEGA / CRITICAL / ENLARGING / FOCUSER / Catalog Number / 468-006 / BERKEY MARKETING COMPANIES, INC. / OMEGA DIVISION / Woodside, N.Y. 11377 Burbank, Calif. 91502 / Made in Japan” is printed.
