Description
NZR Jacket.
Collared blue and black woollen plaid jacket. On the proper left breast there is a logo embroidered in red, black and white. The jacket has a dual cuff on each sleeve. In the centre of the jacket, there is a zip which extends from the collar to just above the bottom of the jacket with the remainder of the length from the bottom of the zip to the bottom of the jacket left unattached. At the bottom of the jacket, there are two front pockets which open from a flap at the top. At the back of the jacket is a fabric strap with a dome on either side of the waistline which can be used to make minor adjustments to the fit of the garment.
Inside, the jacket is lined with a lighter blue, black, and white plaid patterned material. An interior pocket has been fixed to the proper left chest, below the sleeve hole. Sewn to the base of the collar inside the jacket is a fabric tag with “NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS / [wool logo] / PURE NEW / WOOL / [mountain] / Egmont / 1989 / XXL / WANGANUI WOOLLEN MILLS LTD. / MADE IN NEW ZEALAND” printed in white.
