Description
NZR Jacket.
Lightweight blue New Zealand Rail Uniform jacket. The jacket has a wide notch collar and three large silver metal buttons down the centre. Each of the buttons has been embossed with the New Zealand Railways logo. There are four top opening pockets sewn on to the jacket. The pockets on the proper right are located one above the other at mid chest and closer to the waist. On the proper left, one pocket is located on the breast, the other is found at the waist. The upper two pockets are smaller than the waist pockets. There is an epaulette on each of the shoulders secured to the garment with a silver button with the New Zealand Rail logo embossed onto it.
Inside the collar of the jacket, a black fabric tab has been sewn in. Below this is a white rectangular piece of fabric has been sewn to the jacket. “Size: 4 / Chest: 42 / T. R. BOOKER LTD. / MADE IN NZ” has been printed and hand written onto it.
