Description
NZR Jacket.
Blue New Zealand Rail Uniform jacket. The jacket has a wide notch collar and three large silver metal buttons down the centre. Each of the buttons has been embossed with the New Zealand Railways logo. There are four top opening pockets on the jacket. The pockets on the proper right are located one above the other at mid chest and closer to the waist. On the proper left, one pocket is located on the breast, the other is found at the waist. There is an epaulette on each of the shoulders secured to the garment with a silver button with the New Zealand Rail logo embossed onto it.
The Jacket is lined with a lightweight material. Inside the jacket, on either side under the sleeve, a top-opening interior pocket has been fixed to the garment. At the top of the jacket inside the collar there is a fabric strap sewn in. Below this is a white tag with “Size / 100 cm” printed on the top and “REGULAR” printed underneath. At the waistline, on the proper left of the jacket there is a second tag with “A. Levy Ltd. / UNIFORM / SPECIALISTS / PORIRUA / NEW ZEALAND” printed on it in blue.
