Description

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King housing for the Nokia 3315 phone.

Part 1: Hard shell, plastic front cover for a Nokia 3315. The cover is printed with images of the cast of Lord of the Rings and has the words “THE / LORD / OF THE / RINGS / THE RETURN / OF THE KING” printed at the top of the case in gold, and “THE / LORD / OF / THE / RINGS / THE RETURN OF THE KING” printed at the bottom in gold. A square piece of clear plastic is set into a cavity to enable the screen to be visible behind the case. Under this, there are a series holes cut into the case, designed to fit the keypad. On the side of the casing, “©MMIII NLP, Inc TM under lic. to NLP Inc” has been printed in white. On the reverse of the casing, “RA” has been embossed and a black piece of foam has been adhered around the border of the clear plastic screen.

Part 2: Hard shell, plastic back cover for a Nokia 3315. The cover is printed with images of the cast of Lord of the Rings and has the words “THE / LORD / OF THE / RINGS / THE RETURN / OF THE KING” in gold at the bottom of the case.

Part 3: Soft plastic keypad for Nokia 3315. There are three buttons at the top which have some remnants of black printed symbols on them however these have been rubbed off over time. Below these, numbers from 1-9 and the letters of the alphabet have been printed in black. There are three more buttons under this. On the back of the keypad, small columns extend from the back of each button. “8” has been embossed.
