Description

1863 Government of New Zealand Imperial Measure. The measure is circular in shape. "GOVERNMENT OF NEW ZEALAND" is engraved on one side, "IMPERIAL QUART / 1863" is engraved on the other side. "N [crown] Z / G.R / SM / 20" is engraved below this. Engraved around the top edge of the measure are two symbols and the text, "S [?] / [?]".
